Gardening By The Moon
Gardening By The Moon InformationsPlant continuously and groom your garden consistently throughout the year. There are all kinds of flowers that thrive in winter weather that would make a beautiful addition to your winter garden without taking anything away from the beauty of your summer garden. Obviously the winter months are not great months for planting in the earth but this doesn't mean that you cannot use flowerpots filled with seasonal offerings to fill the gaps of green within your garden. One thing that most plants cannot survive is gas heating. If you have a plant that likes warm conditions, don't put it near an air conditioner in the summer. Houseplants can survive in cool or warm temperatures, but drastic fluctuations of temperature may not be good for them. Gardening By The Moon Tips and AdviceThere are several tests used by experienced gardeners to tell whether the soil has a good composition. The best thing you can do in the soil preparation process is to reach the perfect mixture of sand, silt, and clay. Preferably there would be 40 percent sand, 40 percent silt, and 20 percent clay. The plant just grows up through it, and usually it will last until the plant is grown enough to support itself. Sometimes a short metal pole can work well, but often for plants such as tomatoes you will need a wire mesh for it to pull itself up on. After that you can take a pair of wire-cutters and just snip it free. You can find these at any gardening store, usually pre-shaped in a sort of cone shape ideal for plants. Finding something nice-looking to support your plants can be a little bit more challenging. Gardening By The Moon Solutions
